Danielle is an engaging speaker, personal development coach, and workshop facilitator with experience across the military, federal, and social sectors. Drawing from both professional and personal experience, she connects authentically with clients, captivates audiences, and helps organizations navigate complex challenges. Her work ranges from advancing national strategic initiatives to driving measurable community impact.
Danielle most recently worked as the Chief Human Resources Officer at Legal Services Corporation, the single-largest funder for organizations providing civil legal aid to low-income Americans. Her prior roles include Director of Learning and Impact at the Center for Nonprofit Excellence where she built and managed a team responsible for developing and delivering training, providing resources, and consulting and facilitation services to 750 nonprofit members and partners throughout Virginia. She was also the Executive Director of the Family Shelter Services: a 24-hour, 52-bed emergency shelter and 20-unit transitional housing program in Warrenton, Virginia, that serves nearly 400 people annually.
Danielle pursued nonprofit work after 20 years in various human resources positions in both the uniformed service (United States Army) and civilian Federal service (Department of Defense).
Danielle received her B.A. in Communications from Saint Augustine’s University and a M.Ed. with concentration in Curriculum and Instruction from American Intercontinental University. She holds a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Workplace Certification from the University of South Florida, and a Personal Development Coaching Certification from Coaching and Positive Psychology Institute.
She is currently on a creative sabbatical in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, pursuing her passion of writing. She may also be spotted spending time in nature, taking care of fur babies, and enjoying a good meal with old and new friends.
